You don't get as much renown for doing this. I believe you have to be within 30 km of base before you can end the mission and get the bonus for making it all the way back. |
So the difference is only in the amount of Renown you are awarded?
By the way, what good is renown? I haven't found a good answer to that question yet. I thought it was supposed to be spent on good stuff (as in the Thief series). But I also see where people say don't spend any of it. What gives?
