Yeah, the catch up is a right pain in the butt. Hopefully the next patch will let us turn it off in career mode.
And to continue on our little saga here,
I'm about 60% done the game. I've upgraded to my lovely little "Silver Bullet"
Police pursuits are a great deal like gambling, once you start, you simply can't stop!
You start small, a few local cruisers chasing you, and next thing you know you got half of the PD on you and a helicopter for good measure. Yup, you could stop at this point having levelled half the tollbooths, signs, traffic and a good chunk of the PD's cruisers and SUVs but wait! If you keep going, you get even more bounty. Argh. Decisions, decisions. :hmm:
Unfortunately for me, I've gotten very high bounties only to be busted moments later, usually by being surrounded by about six or seven SUVs. It's like 9 am here, and I haven't slept yet and I haven't really accomplished anything in the last four hours except getting busted over and over for being greedy
Still, I do have a brand new single pursuit bounty record:
