No. I do not believe that. This action is too far spread to be just 'the seedy degenerate criminal type'. Yes a percentage may be but to tar all of the participants as murdering druggies is tantamount to the same high esteem that our government holds most of our countries youth in.
Being brutally honest, it's a very bigoted mind set you have there. Forcefully imposing 'peace' is not the answer, imprisoning mass offenders is not the answer (especially on an already over populated and failing prison system), the true answer is one that has eluded this government for a long time and I'm not sure I, or anyone else, can safely say what it is but it must start with the realisation that there has been a systematic failure when it comes to this particular demographic.
What needs to happen now is restraint, no heavy handed tactics and absolutely no casualties (on either side). We need to mediate this situation by whatever means are necessary. Forcefully quelling this action will only result in future outbreaks.
