I think when people find a fix or tweak that solves a problem they know other people have already asked about, they are more inclined to post it. I know I am. There are some longstanding or widely reported issues that, if you frequent the forums on a regular basis, you just know are out there because they've been talked about so much.
If someone does ask about a specific problem and I've got a solution or workaround, and I see the question, I always try to share what info or suggestions I've got. If someone looks at my mod list and asks how I got mod X to work with mod Y, I'll do my best to answer. If they report a problem with using mod X and mod Y that I solved to my own satisfaction, I'll certainly pitch in and help if I can.
