I have done that. My computer only has one adapter. My friend's computer has two and we've tried both. I'm having problems with Hamachi too. I am able to get a direct tunnel to my friend, but it says on both of our computers that there's a tunnel problem. I've used a port checker on my computer and found that the ports for Dangerous Waters as well as every port that I've manually had to port forward are not open. Even though they are listed as open in my router settings AND in my firewall. So there's something blocking my ports even though I have them listed as open. Even when I shut down the firewall and open all ports on my router, they still are all closed.
Yet, I play City of Heroes and have Steam. Those connect fine as does Skype and Gbridge. But with those, I didn't have to manually port forward any ports.
I am able to connect my laptop here and my desktop and play Dangerous Waters no problem, but they don't connect if the computers have to connect over the internet and not directly over the router.
And just to verify. When you put your adaptor in the dangerouswaters.ini, do you need to put just the name of the adaptor or the whole line including the ip address ?
