When a convoy or task force is passing by at long distance, one of the escorts is leaving the formation and get glued to your sub doing nothing else than circling forever at a constant distance. To shake them down u need to reload the game or drive them at shore.

Had this the other day too, though as a first time player I didn't realise it was a bug (though I did suspect
). 24 hrs submerged with him circling 1000 yards to port, everywhere I went he followed me and no fish left to take a cheeky strike... battery nearly dead. I eventually came up to surface around 2am, in thick fog and sunk the bugger with the deck gun!
Also, I didn't think the 3gb fix was needed for Win7, just Vista? Could be wrong though
