Mine's a bit modded too- but the only thing I've done is get the 7th/13th flotilla to use Narvik as a base instead of Trondheim. However, the problem still occurs when I use the stock GWX3 backup.

As you can see, the Uboat2_0=1 should mean that the only sub used by this flotilla is the Type 7.

Aside from the 11th getting to use a XXI, I don't see a difference. Could something besides Flotilla.cfg cause this? Let me know if you need anything else to help. If you're using GWX3 and SH3 commander, could you try starting a March 1945 career with the 7/13 with a VIIC and see if it works?

That's what your 1945 under 7th flotilla should look like. That's GWX 3.0
You see not only in the begining of the entry of the flotilla, but also in the corresponding year the uboat type needs to be correct.
As you can see it says the uboat type and version. Here its saying 7th/13th flotilla takes viic/41 starting in Jan. 1945.
