(Unfortunately, such an even is highly unlikely. Too many things are interconnected, which means that it would take too long for us to adapt, giving them time to adapt in kind. Stopping the economy of an enemy nation as big as China would require a strong, uniform, universal and extremely powerful "attack", which we are not able to deliver).
