I hope you are truly being honest in your post here and that being "caught"(I assume someone called you out on this) has taught you that telling lies is not going to to get you very far in life.(unless you plan on going into politics)
This is very true with the military where lying and being dishonest is very much against the values of the military. If you are caught lying about something directly related to duty you will get into serious trouble and goes against the core values of the military.
The Air Force Core values:
Integrity First
Service before self
Excellence in all we do
Notice the first thing? That is how important being honest is.If a person has no integrity how can you trust them?
If you are dishonest in one way then that makes people distrust you because all they have to judge you buy is obvious dishonesty.
Another thing you should consider Anthony is that many members of the military come from lower class hard working backgrounds and they tend to dislike those
who brag about how much money they have or what they might have so if you do this sort of thing you will find that you will not make many friends this is very true in basic and tech school where people are the most homesick they are not going to want to hang around with someone who brags.
If you want to make goo lasting friends you will get much farther by being yourself and not what you think impresses people.I say that because you seem to not be all that confident in yourself. And if you still behave the same way in the military it will catch up with you I guarantee it.
