For one, id start with an all-out compete battleship sim. Your the captain, you need to keep your men happy, fed, the ship well-maintained, fueled up, and ready to fire. Things like mechanical malfunctions can and do happen, and things like men overboard ect happen, heavy weather. stuff like that.

WWII era, but not accurate, as in the missions and involvement will be changed obviously to make the battleship have more things to do than what it did.

SEcond, i want a FPS/tactical game. Players choose the layout of their base, what, who, and how many is in the base, and whats in the base. They are tasked with certain missions, such as assault on a heavily defended insurgent mountain, and you task what the battle plan is, you direct your troops beforehand, and if the game's AI is good, then they will actually follow your orders and do what you tell them to. However you will also be on the battlefield, fighting and gunning like you would in a normal FPS, but realistically, like ArmA. You have to be able to expect the unexpected, be able to change the plan and face new threats accordingly, and know when to pull out.

co-op would be people taking up different roles. you cannot win, at all, without teamwork. In a tactical situation where you have to insert by helicopter, 4 guys get the ride, one guy flies, and 2 guys fly air and ground cover in some F-22 raptors. now that same heli pilot has to circle the battlefield and pick up the wounded and the crew, and must make the call if its safe enough to land.

That would be incredibly awesome. Except for the idiots who might play the game, and intentionally sabotage the mission ect. maybe there can be a votekick button, and when someone is acting stupid they can kick him and the computer takes over.
