Speaking of my right ear there was one incident which I will not forget easily.
One night I was trying a peculiar simple prayer. It is done by invoking the name Jesus over and over and over and over. Doesn't have to be loud or even doesn't have to be audible at all.
I tried this one night on my bed just before going to sleep not expecting anything but something came when I was on the verge of falling to sleep.
I didn't dare to open my eyes. But I heard a very loud noise which I can only say that it sounded like a very very strong windstorm(so strong it was scary). it was the strongest sound of wind I have ever heard. I was afraid it would wake the whole neighborhood. Funnily I could tell that it was damn loud on my right ear so I was picking it mostly on my right ear. Whatever it was I believe it was present to my right side of the bed. Couldn't remember anything else afterwards but enough to know it wasn't a dream.
The next day I realized no one even at my house heard anything. I came to the conclusion I was the only one who heard it. Now many people who are unfamiliar may think I was probably hallucinating but I wasn't. I told my mom about it and another person who often practiced the same prayer sometimes hear the exact mighty wind noise. In fact sometimes it is proceeded with a voice saying specific verses from the bible. Many monastic monk practice the same prayer too in meditative stance and many experience the same thing.
From then on I suspect that when the bible tells the story of the Pentacost which is the descend of the holy spirit preceded by the sound of the mighty wind and fire apparition descending on each person in the house I am quite sure that nobody else outside that particular house heard a thing. The sound of the mighty wind could only be heard by its intended audience. You could even be in the same room and not heard a thing.
But because I'm unsure what it was exactly I can't tell if it was from God.
Never heard anything like that again. And no I have never heard voices or noises. Well with the exception of that one time noise of the mightiest wind.
