Well lets slow down a minute folks.
its not like its Alien or Robocop or something they have made 25 versions of.
The really scary film version of "the thing" as the one made in 82
since then i would wager that we have an entire generation of people who are more or less unfamiliar with one of the greatest Sci Fi films in history. (My humble opinion)
personally i think the film trailer looked good, at least it didnt have a 40 foot tall transforming robot
