Hi Captains,
Although I have been reading the forums since 2009 , I only recently reloaded my SH4.

I have ver 1.0. I see that the Ubisoft site offers updates to ver 1.1 & 1.2 , though i managed to patch my game to ver 1.4 from a download I did from the subsim site about 18 months ago.

When looking to update my SH4 I looked for patches and found them. I was then given a message that I was only allowed to d/l 3 files daily . I understand about the members who join and then leave immediately after stripping out all the dowloads they can.

However, the last d/l I did was approx 18 mths ago (maybe longer) so that stung a bit. Its not very welcoming to come up against this message.

I wanted to update my SH4, learn to play it properly with the large volume of guides,posts,tips etc and then have a try at Multiplayer in the future.

I certainly didnt expect to be blocked from downloading a file every 18 months.
