The full quote is "these revelations are deplorable and despicable after I have spent many millions trying to keep people quiet about them"
He has a point, when you have been throwing around a hell of a lot of hush money and have having your tame politicians help you out in trying to sweep the crimes under the carpet it really is despicable that after 5 years efforts it still becomes public.
