Win7 really doesn't like it if you install ANYTHING into c:/Program Files. That is sacred ground to Win7 and it will defend it to the death. Think "Does not share well with others".

Do all of your installs into either a new directory that you created (i.e. c:/games) or into c:/Program Files (X86).
