The trick with the gates is just to get the coordinates right. You can have linked pairs as long as you nail that.
Though I guess it's possible Bukkit "breaks" the Nether... seems unlikely though.

Well I got the coords right save for height and when I came through the portal I ended up in some godforsaken cavern deep underground. Not to mention screwing up Oberons and Mkeabs link
