I've not seen any American capital ships as yet.

The only British capital ships I've spotted were a couple of battleships and a Southhampton, iirc, west of Gibraltar, running for the strait at 28 knots.
This was Late '41 or early '42.

I've seen, and sunk the occasional Southhampton in port.
