And you might already know this, but NEVER add a mod when you're in the middle of a patrol. Your savegame will most likely become corrupt, so always make sure you install mods between patrols.
Other than that, read Aces first post in his release thread really carefully. It's a lot of information, but he describes very well what versions there are, how to install them and in what order.
