What are your system specs? Because FM Interior is quite a demanding mod. 3 or 4 gig memory is recommended for this one.
Also, there is a free camera mod so you don't have to press f2 when you want to walk around the ship, but I'm not exactly sure where I found it. Try searching the downloads section for that one.
