We have a clear cherry brandy, but brandy is the google translate for schnaps. Schnaps is usually made by fermenting small pears (tepke) or plums. Cherry schnaps is harder to make (cause cherries are harder to obtain) and is more expensive, but also of better taste.
First I've got to pick them and then ferment them. We'll have the first litres in february
