I watched this live (sad bugga that I am) and that is the only reason I can think of.
I did notice she said something like "That's or your very kind" at the end of his speech though.
Guess we'll just have to wait until someone releases their memoirs before we find out.
I could be wrong but as far as I know the British press haven't picked up on it
