I'll meet you halfway and agree the renown for spending 24 hours in a patrol grid seems superfluous. That being said, (come '43 and beyond) it actually was an achievement to reach a grid and return safely.
Therefore, given that renown for return is not an option, (as per the previous post), I like to set my Basic.cfg with nothing for 24 hours and 500 for reaching the assigned point.
