Simply my favorite series ever made, some of the best writing and acting ever done.
The fact it didn't have a fourth season was a crapper, but the last show of season 3 could've been the ending had they not stated a 4th season. You could tell in the third season they were setting up for the town to burn down in the final season that never happened.
Milch moved on, the pressure seemed to be money as many stores wouldn't carry or sell the series, but the bigger issue there was so much non stop cussing and sex it couldn't be edited for TV without losing all effect.
