Okay, Cider is not an equivalent option.
It doesn't seem to be able to let the game access the graphics card properly, so the graphics are terrible. (Yes, my drivers are the latest.)
Accessing the function keys requires holding the fn button as well - not handy. They work normally in BootCamp/Win XP.
Also, the display resolution is lower, and SH3 doesn't give you any options for adjusting.
The only inconvenience of BootCamp is having to reboot to get into Windows, but it doesn't take all that long.
I'm glad you told me about Cider though, because it may be a viable option for other Windows programs on the Mac.
