Give SHV a bit more time mate, you gotta remeber that SH4 has been out much longer and it was in a more 'completed' state out of the box.
SHV still needs much work, Modders are working hard on it, but no-one is a miracal worker - eventually it will get there.
Maybe give it break, sure... but dont write it off completely just yet
