Precisely...it was ruined more than ten years ago when the influx of other countries brought with them a whole new kind of bias that had nothing to do with the actual musical acts but more a case of pinning ones colours to each others regional masts.
Glad I'm at work feeling sorry for the wife who is having to watch it because the daughter wants to see it
