My mistake was as simple as forgetting one of the fields indicated in the top of
messages.txt.
Right before the proper message there should be a field like this:
[INVOLVED SHIPS,INVOLVED SHIPS]. It wasn't in my file, because I took the original message.txt as a template, and in that file there is nothing there
. I don't know exactly why, the original works but mine didn't (maybe it is related to the use of tabulators, I'm not sure).
I just added
[..] to all messages and then started to receive them in my boat.
