And then I realized that I've always done it with other words. I "access" the internet all the time.
Of course nouns should never be used as verbs, especially proper nouns. If you disagree, I'm sure you can google any facts you need, and xerox me a copy while you're at it.

My pet peeve is the use of the past tense in place of the past perfect tense. It grates upon my ears and raises my blood pressure.
I tend to give the misuse of nouns a free pass, except for the misuse of proper nouns.
