I dunno, I raised the 'scope when I was still sitting at the dock before even leaving on a patrol, when I was testing, and it came up with a whole string of pennants with tonnage marked on them. I still haven't looked into the files to get a grip on what exactly I have to edit to match my own tonnage sunk at the end of a patrol, but it appears at least as though there's some default info in the files that just gets changed as needed.
