What, noone here has read Superman: Red Son?

Brilliant comic, I really enjoyed it. It really had much more to say about America than it did about the USSR, but the underlying message of it was basically that Superman was Superman, and it didn't matter where he landed. And that this was both a good and a bad thing. And ultimately it wasn't national policy but a kind of human character which we all share that defined him.
Couldn't put it down, instead of being cheesy and cliche, it was really a great example of how comic books can have a lot to say
