I'm going to have a hard time explaining this. So I got a picture to help me.
The Picture above, is a submarine just beneath the surface visible beneath the waterline.
Is there a mod that I can download (or better yet a .cfg file I can edit in notepad) to make my submarine slightly visible underwater at shallow depths?
I've seen videos on the internet such as this one
, (skip to 2:20 to see the uboat begin it's dive sequence and give a demonstration of what I am talking about) but I have not had any luck achieving it myself.
Now I am unsure as to whether or not the video I posted is of Silent Hunter 3, but one of the comments says it is so I posted it for good measure. Also whether it is Silent Hunter 3 or not it shows exactly what I would like to see. (just the water, don't care about the boat itself, although the particle effects coming off of it are pretty sweet.)
So.....Can it be done?
