Picture my Phantom flight flying over the delta at dawn spewing gas - silhouetted against a multi-colored sky.
Not PC but a very, very atmospheric scene.

When it comes to the Phantom screw all the PC crap!
"We train young men to drop fire on people. But their commanders won't allow them to write '****' on their airplanes because it's obscene!"

Oh yea Skyhawks, another great aircraft. One of the USN's A-4s managed to kill a MiG with three Zuni rockets in a dogfight once. My dad was assigned to a A-4 Squadron as a Aviation Storekeeper, VA-212. He was also with a A-7 Corsair squad VA-122 doing the same. Hes fond of saying "the A-7 could
carry an A-6 [Intruder]!" Which is nearly the truth.
