See the thing is I fiercely disagree with this whole "Give them a separate section of the city crap simply because it leaves room for extremists to gain power and push the masses in a violent direction.
BUT,
I do not agree with violence in the face of violence. Create laws outlawing this kind of beaviour, and if it persists, then kick them out of the country and back to where they came. Close the borders to stop this from happening. Only if a state of Civil War is created would I condone taking up arms and such.
My theory is, if you're going to immigrate to a country, especially one like Canada and the U.S than you have to assimilate to a certain degree. I agree with keeping a part of your culture and religion. But leave behind the goddam extremism.
I don't mean to beat the 9/11 drum, but either it was not widespread like this or I was just not aware of how bad this was in countries in Europe (are there situations similar to this in North America?). Who changed? Whites/non-Islamics or the Islamics themselves?
