From my work on importing SH3/4 ships into SH5 I've figured out how the game determines the damage/collision model. From this knowledge the subnets now don't let the sub or anything else for that matter pass through them Torpedoes are now stopped by the subnets

This (along with destroyable mines) will make Zedi a happy man as he is adding them to the campaign.
