I would agree. Here in Virginia about 10 years ago we had a family wiped out when a deer went through the windshield. The deer was still alive and flayed the entire family to death in its struggle.
I would say that is more terrifying. To survive the impact but to be "la machined" to death by a deer's hooves. I don't think that family died quickly, especially the children strapped in the child seats.
