Well..another nice AI goofup..
I was traveling near Scotland when I encountered an escort carrier (bogue) taskforce, concisting of the carrier and 5 DD's.
I messed up and got spotted by the nearest DD, wich turned into my direction. I expected to be totaly wasted by all of them but to my surprise only the one that spotted my came after me.
1 DD, no problem, I turned into him and fired a torp headon, (didn't made evasive manouvres
) wich blew him out of the water.
Still no reaction from the other DD's.. I surfaced and got again spotted (radar I presume) by another DD. And again only one came after me so I shot that one as well..and the next, and the next.
You can imagine the rest, I picked them off one by one and to top it all off the Carrier hadn't speeded away but was slowly zigzagging.
geez.
Ofcourse I intercepted the lonely Carrier and torped him, I almost feel quilty about it..
Why the hell didn't the DD's atacked as a group? They could have ruined my day. And I thought the patch eliminated the straight course of the DD's? (Only one of the DD zigzagged in this case.)
