Still today in the Navy you get constant transfers. But when you transfer a medic out, you dont get a gunner in return. Thats what I mean about commander being "dumb" with the transfers.

To agree with Snestorm, were PO's who are not qualified are the same has a seaman. I am sure that even in those days when you were a PO, you were qualified in something...

But indeed I do use commander to qualify them has soon has I get them at the start of my carreers.
