Well, I don't think that the 'shift+page up' thing is anti-aliasing. It adds an effect called 'bloom' or something like that I think.
I have set my graphics card to 'force' anti-aliasing ingame (but I have an ATI, not nVidia) and the shift+page up actually messes that up. When I press shift+page up I get this bloom but all anti-aliasing is gone. It almost gets stock-sh3-ugly.
