In any case, you can find a teaching position in just about any area of the country and in any content area. However, you should be prepared to work as a per deim substitute for as long as two years. I stand by my statement. What I'm saying is, pick a markatable minor that will make you stand above the other SS teachers. All of the stuff Tak said is true (regarding subbing), but be prepared to find a good summer job

. Make sure you do your research before you get into it. Last time I checked, math and science are in high demand. If you're open to it, become a kindergarten teacher, as there is a high demand for male kindergarten teachers.
Oh, and find out what other state's teaching requirements are, as they vary widely. BUT, watchout for districts offering really sweet deals to relocate to their district, you could get stuck in a really bad district/school.
