In my game, the external cam is the option that has that last little 1% of realism value attached to it. It's the one thing I'm pretty sure I'll
never turn off, at least not permanently.
Among other things, it's just too much fun watching my boat plow through a wild north Atlantic storm with "Ride of the Valkyries" blasting out of the gramophone.
