The funny thing is this that isn't this Earth Hour "lights out" movement the sort of feel-good gesture which only results in some minor population increase in 9 months time? Thereby putting more humans on the earth and creating a greater demand for energy and resources.

It does give a whole new meaning to the term "feel-good gesture" though.
