I looked up on Uboat.net the co ordinates for sinkings of ships from convoy SC 7 and marked some of them on the map from the 16th to the 18th to get a rough estimation of it's track. As I am patrolling in the western approaches from 10th October on, I thought it would be easy to locate this convoy but no it isn't. The 16th comes and goes and yet I don't get a sniff even though I am in the area of the first sinking. What I do get , rather annoyingly, is radio reports of others sinking ships from this convoy.

Has anyone else encountered SC 7 ?
