well accourding to the crew files. My 1WO has connections with Donitz. i must ask him to arange a meet and greet with Donitz so i can tell him i,m not so pleased with my 1WO. He has only eye so at watch duty he,s only half the man he used to be. When he is unjured he ignored direct orders in the heat of battle creating potential risk for the whole of the crew and not to mention by beloved VIIC boat , which by 1940 standarts is the most sophiscitated u-boat in the world and costs many many reichmarks. I,m sure that Donitz himself will give me his personal golden Luger if i keep my mouth shut to the 1WO,s father or grandfather or whatever. I could say he got " Injured in the line of duty!"
