Fair enough, it's just that I limited myself to 1000,- when building mine as well, only to end up getting a faster CPU and RAM not all that long after. On the one hand, that means that over time I got enough replaced parts to build a second PC (basically put the old one back together), but on the other I could have saved money in the long run by just getting what I really wanted to begin with.
