Ahh just thought of something, using the guns wouldn't be realistic then. Best to leave it to your gun crew. While the Kapitan scouts for destroyers. Many times i have taken to the deck gun happily blasting away only to get blasted by a destroyer that has crept up. This is in the stock game, i find when i spot a loan merchant to always keep an open mind that theres most likely a destroyer out of site waiting to surprise me on while on the surface.
