To be fair, I've been to the States also prior to the Prius age, lived there only for a short time, but even then I had the feeling that people in Beetles, Escorts or other small cars get hunted down merciless
What's the deal with silver btw? Same in Germany, all cars are black, white or silver, people don't like colour anymore...
