Forgot to add, if you're using TMO. The invasion of Guadalcanal starts in August of '42, and since I'm up to Late May of 43, I can't remember exactly when it shows up, but it's around summer of '42.
After August things start to heat up in the area, and will last until well into March and April of '43.
When things cool down there, I move to the area in the Bismark Sea to the narrow spot between New Britain, and New Ireland by Rabaul. Plenty of action there, and with the narrow passage, it's pretty easy pickins, since the ships can't run all over the place trying to escape.
