I'm not looking at it from a conspiracy point of view, just a "they have no interest in it" point of view. Now if they put half of the effort in to investigate this story that they put into investigating the rumor the republican guv candidate was not an or-gone citizen (They were trying to prove he lived in WA
because he owned a house there years ago.)
oh well, you get what you vote for. Now we have a fruitcase representing us.
But he's a demmcrat, he'll bring home the federal bacon, so who cares. More money for us.
