not to be 'that guy' here, but in 2011 if you have a computer that cant run a game like battlefield 2, you really should invest in a new computer. I'm not talking about just swapping out some parts, but a new computer. If you were to say add RAM or get a new video card, then there are possibilities that your OS doesnt even support more than some arbitrary limit of RAM (of which the standard has surpassed now) because when the OS was designed (even XP) needing that much was inconceivable, and as to the video card, many of the past years video cards are too large to fit in the layout of older computers, and may easily surpass the power supply. etc etc and a whole bunch of other issues.
So if you plan on having a 'game' computer for the next 5-10 years, just bite it and get a new one that will last you that long. At some point one simply cant upgrade anymore and it becomes more costly to do such(the problems im beginning to face when using a computer that was originally built before this game was thought of).
