I think I did sink one lone freighter somewhere west of Ireland on the way back, but that was it for that patrol. Probably my worst haul ever on a patrol where I didn't die.

But it didn't seem right to take such severe damage and then pretend that ALL of it was magically repaired just like that.

I use the "Brain Imagination Mod v1.0" quite a bit as well. In my WarshipMod campaigns there are times I come out of a fight with a bunch of superstructure parts missing (mast, life boats, etc), and other important bits shot up. If I'm in one of the heavy ships my hull integrity won't have suffered any though so as far as the game is concerned I need no time in the repair facility.

"Captain, you don't need to put in for repairs. Your hull is fine!"

"Excuse me? Have you noticed that my mast is gone, my stack is gone, Seaman Voss's guts are still decorating the deck where his gun used to be, and there are a bunch of holes in the wardroom bulkheads? That's also not to mention the damage caused by the fire we had to put out..."

"No big deal, we can have all that patched up in 24 hours while we refuel and re arm you!"

"I'm taking this up with HQ....."

So, it's off to the .cfg files to edit in repair time!
